I read the pages 155 to 158 before I read the blog assignment but I reread it and time it myself. It took me 11 minutes to read it. I think it could took me longer than 11 minutes if I didn’t read it before because I’m slow reader, I took my time when I’m reading because I want to understand every sentence while I’m reading, and I think that’s what makes me so slow reader.

That's interesting. You should read another three pages that you haven't read before and see how long it takes you. I wonder if it would be a lot more than 11 minutes because you hadn't read it before.
ReplyDeleteSometimes it's a good idea to time yourself as you read because it'll help you to focus on reading. For example, you could tell yourself that you're going to read for fifteen minutes straight, and then write a few sentences to summarize what you've read.
